I believe that nothing can get you more in touch with yourself than trying to accompany and guide educational and developmental process in other people. And most importantly: enable personal growth within that process.

You will find that, when you work with other people you can’t hide your persona. You are affecting the human being(s) you work with as a human being above all theoretical knowledge you might hold. And the other human being , be it a child or an adult, will percive how you are and not how you would like to be. You can only pass on, what you are able to realize yourself. You can only hand down  knowledge you aquired yourself. You can only allow the other, what you can permit yourself. You can only set the limits for the other if you are aware of you own. You can only facilitate the freedom that you feel for yourself and nothing more.

This will have the consequence for people who are working within the educational or social field – and who are caring about the quality of their work – that they can not avoid to face their own persona. The leading and guiding of others demands of the professional to observe their own personal development in respect to the development of their intrusted.

Only in the reflection and recognition of yourself, you can find the attitude to be authentic in front of yourself and others.
